I love the story lines where Yuusei has to put up with an asshole talking shit about the cards and he takes crds people don’t believe in and he plays them with perfection; proving that all cards have meaning. Which totes comes from his life as a Satellite Orphan and how people never believed in him - except his friends - and he had to believe in himself to actually get anywhere, and he could nEVER do that to his cards. Like, if there was one constant in his life, it is his cards.
and I am about to make myself cry.
Nobody and nothing in this world is useless, right?
That mindset really endeared him to me, he’s so sweet about proving the worth of things and people others find ‘useless’, because he was one of those people, as an orphan in satellite.
And then when someone was calling both the cards and a bunch of kids, including his friends, useless? He was so ready to throw down, and it was amazing.
